Moulton College is celebrating achieving Commended Status in the AoC Beacon Awards for Excellence in Governance.
This year’s AoC Beacon Awards programme has 12 categories. Assessors have recommended those applications that should be commended for their practice in each of the award categories, having demonstrated a high level of innovation, impact and sustainability.
The award for Moulton College relates specifically to an EDI strategy development project which brought together key individuals from across the College to produce an EDI framework which was then shared at a best practice event in March 2022. Resources produced throughout the project were shared with a number of colleges impacting positively on hundreds of students in the wider sector.
Having achieved Commended Status the College is now waiting to hear if it will be announced as a finalist at the AoC Annual Conference on Tuesday 15 November.
