Joe Pygall - Head of Football

Joe joined the college in 2019 as a self employed football coach on the football programme. He has since worked for the college in various roles and is now the Head of Football.

Before Joe started at the college he had a wealth of experience within the football world. Including working at Milton Keynes Dons FC where he had a number of roles he also has experience delivering football sessions in various different environments including grassroots clubs, primary and secondary schools and private development centres. He has also completed a degree with the University of South Wales in partnership with the EFL Trust which allowed him to gain invaluable experience within the coaching landscape. He has even worked in New York as the ‘Soccer counsellor’ at Camp Schodack.

Joe thoroughly enjoys managing the football programme here at Moulton and states:

I feel very grateful to be given the opportunity to help develop the lives of young people and offer opportunities to gain invaluable experiences within football. Being in their shoes on a similar Football Education programme in the past, I thrive off of being able to use my own experiences to help them develop as both people and football players.

During Joe's time off 99% of his time is spent watching more football both within the local grassroots scene as well as professional football.

A key moment during his time here at Moulton "was winning the U19 National Youth Alliance League for the first time in the 2022-2023 season. We as a group worked for 3 years to win this competition and the players and staff worked tirelessly to make this happen, it was a fantastic achievement."
