Leslie Gadd- Lecturer in Food Technology

Leslie has had 38 years of experience in family bakeries, retail bakeries, product development work and nearly 20 years teaching experience at degree level at the The National Bakery School, London.

Leslie's favourite thing about his role and teaching at the college is

Being able to turn a few simple ingredients into something that looks, smells and tastes fantastic & being able to pass this knowledge & skill onto the next generation of bakers.

Throughout Leslie's career he has had many highlights including going to Japan to teach Japanese bakers all about great British baking, from this, a book and training DVD was produced using all of his recipes and techniques!

In his free time Leslie enjoys "baking, baking and more baking along with a few pints of Guinness!"
