The City & Guilds 2366 course is the ideal progression point for adults looking to build a solid foundation in the electrical industry. You will acquire a broad range of knowledge, skills and understanding of electrical installation including: - Scientific principles - Inspection, testing and commissioning - Fault finding and diagnosis - Electrical design practices and procedures - Organising and overseeing electrical work activities in buildings - Requirements for electrical installations to BS 7671
The mode of study will either be two evenings per week, 6pm - 9pm or one full day per week.
Assessment will take place through a mix of online, written and practical assessments.
This qualification will support progression onto an installation and maintenance electrican apprenticeshop. After full completion of an apprenticeshp you could be employed as an installation electrician, maintenance electrician or electrician.
You will need a Level 2 Diploma or Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent to be able to study this course.
