Moulton College Rugby Academy is one of two Northampton Saints RFC Official state school Partnerships, offering ambitious young players the opportunity to combine their academic studies with a high-performance rugby environment designed to support progression to the next level in both the their Rugby journeys and career ambitions.
Our programme provides all with a clear competitive pathway. The ACE squad competes in the RFU ACE League, the highest standard of state school rugby in the country, regularly testing players against elite opposition. Alongside this, we run two additional boys’ teams competing in the AoC Schools and Colleges League, ensuring meaningful game time and development opportunities for players at all stages of their rugby journey.
All rugby is delivered by our energetic coaching team with direct experience of the Northampton Saints development pathway. Training sessions are aligned with those delivered within the Saints Academy, exposing players to professional training standards and giving them the tools needed to push for further progression within the game whilst playing an exciting style of Rugby based on the Saints DNA.
Players also benefit from position specific strength and conditioning programmes, fully aligned with Northampton Saints Academy sessions, supporting physical development, injury prevention, and performance on the field.
In addition, students have access to training opportunities at the Northampton Saints High Performance Centre and gym, providing invaluable experience of a professional rugby environment.
Our Rugby Academy Training Day gives prospective students the chance to experience the academy first-hand, training on the pitch and in the gym, meeting coaches, and seeing what life at Moulton College Rugby Academy is really like - helping you make an informed decision about your future.
Your Rugby Academy training day will include a pitch based training session, a detailed presentation which will cover all aspects of the programme and a gym based session.
