Julia studied Level 2 RHS Practical Horticulture from 2022-2023 and during her time here she "developed a greater interest, knowledge and practical ability."
Julia chose to study Horticulture here at Moulton as she had recently land-scaped her garden and wanted to enhance her knowledge, she also knew the site "and loved the environment and beautiful setting." During her course she had the opportunity to develop her green skills and enjoyed all parts of the course, stating:
the practical learning sessions were great, strangely I quite like learning Latin names, also the other learners on the course were all lovely people. I will now choose plants according to the soil type they grow in and now know how to improve soil quality and structure. I know some plants thrive in sun and some in shade. I can identify different plants and trees. I have gone from wanting a minimalist garden to one full of plants and colour.
