Moulton College hosts solar industry open event

Moulton College has successfully hosted its Solar Power Careers Fair on Monday 4 March 2024. The event aimed to shed light on the huge array of careers opportunities in the rapidly expanding solar industry, a sector crucial in steering the UK towards its Net Zero goals.

The Solar Power Careers Fair served as a gateway for students and professionals alike to explore the diverse and exciting prospects within the renewable energy sector where the UK’s solar capacity is set to increase five-fold within the next decade.

The event featured top employers in the solar industry, each providing valuable insights and opportunities for those interested on joining the ‘Green Revolution’, such as Solis, Anesco, NextEnergy Group, Solar Energy UK, GenCarbon, EvoEnergy, and GivEnergy.

The event garnered enthusiastic participation from students, professionals and industry experts alike. Learners actively engaged with exhibitors and seized the networking opportunities to gain valuable insights into the solar industry and career possibilities.

Colleges like Moulton College and students here, they’re the future. They’re the future of the industry and without them there won't be an industry. And without them we're not going to able to reach the targets of clean energy generation.
