Our lucky food science and nutrition students have been on a trip out to Weetabix Ltd - gaining insider knowledge on the latest foodie inventions.
The students visited the New Product Development department where they got to visit the innovation kitchen and factory.
Students Sophie Knox and Morris Waithaka said: “It was really interesting to find out the challenges that are behind some Weetabix’s new products and get a sneak peek into the upcoming cereal creations”
The students listened to presentations from Weetabix staff which offered some unique insights into the food industry. With over 140 years’ worth of knowledge and experience between them, the students were all ears to find out as much as they could about this multinational company, and the workings of its business.
