Leza Bliss - Animal Welfare Lecturer

Leza Bliss is our Animal Welfare Lecturer and joined us in September 2011 and specialises in animal behaviour and training, human and animal interactions. She is a qualified member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She is a Registered Animal Medicines Advisor (C-SQP) and a Level 2 Mental Health First Aider.

Her interests are Assistance Dog training and human and animal relationships, she's also previously worked as an Environmental Engineer, undertaking phase 1 and 2 environmental site surveys.

"What I enjoy most about teaching is helping students have that lightbulb moment when everything comes together as well as supporting students and other members of staff with their mental health. "
