A HNC in Leadership and Management will give you a comprehensive understanding of business principles and practices and is an ideal platform to a wide range of career opportunities in areas such as marketing, finance, management and human resources.
By studying a HNC you will be covering the key aspects and skills that will appeal to future employers as they are involved in the design and curriculum content for these qualifications.
The course will cover a broad range of business aspects and functions including marketing, finance and project management. You will gain a wide range of business knowledge tied to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. You will be involved in vocational activities that will help you to develop vocational behaviours (the attitudes and approaches required for a competence) and transferable skills.
Transferable skills are those such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are highly valued in higher education and the workplace.

You may be eligible for a loan from the Student Loan Company to pay your student fees directly to the College, and when you start to repay will depend upon your earnings and whether you studied full or part-time.
You may also be eligible for help with living costs through maintenance loans and grants. Further details can also be found on the Government website. This money will be paid to you, and can be used to settle any accommodation or transport fees due to the College.
There is also additional support available for students with disabilities, and the College's Learning Support Tutor can help you with the application process.
This is a full-time offer with three days of contract time, some of which may be delivered as online learning. You will have 16-18 hours of face to face delivery which will include business lecturers, workshops and academic tutorial support. Alongside this contact time you will also be expected to complete independent learning.

Upon successful completion of this course you could progress on to Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Leadership and Management. You may also decide to progress straight into employment in the Business Sector in business administration roles or junior management roles.
