It's nearly time to find out the results of your exams and finalise your next steps!

Whether you are already a student at Moulton College or hoping to join us this September we hope that you get the grades that you need. Here is your essential guide to what to expect on Results Day.

Information for existing learners

When will my results be available?

There are two main results days for our 16-18 learners:

Thursday 14 August is the results day for all Level 3 courses, including T-Levels, UAL and BTECs and other vocational qualifications. Results will be emailed to your student email accounts at 8am.

Thursday 21 August is the results day for GCSEs, Level 1 and Level 2 courses. Results will be emailed to your student email accounts at 8am. If you are scheduled to come into the College to enrol on this date you will also be able to pick up a copy of your results from the Learning Hub at Gate 1.

Hints and tips to help you on Results Day

This can be a stressful time so it is important that you take care of yourself. Plan ahead and most importantly stay calm, even if your result aren't what you expected.

Ensure that you have access to your student email. If you can't access the system you might need to reset your password.

Whatever the outcome - whether you do better than expected, or the results are not what you hoped for - we are here to support you. Pick up the phone or email us and we will be happy to help.

What support will be available from College if I need it on my Results Day?

There will be a range of support available on results days and beyond.

  1. In person at Gate 1, Moulton campus (enrolling students only)
  2. Online and by phone

It is likely that our phone lines will be very busy so please do check the FAQs below first as you may find the answer to your query.

If you would like more in-depth advice about your next steps, you should contact the Careers Team (careers@moulton.ac.uk).

You can come into college from 10am on Thursday 14 August to speak to one of the team or you can call us on 01604 491131 and we will put you in contact with either our Careers Team or your tutors.

If your results are still not displayed after you have refreshed your screen please email exams.inbox@moulton.ac.uk and we will look to see why your results have not come through.

Please bear in mind that the team will be very busy so there may be a delay in responding to your query.

We are still accepting applications for our higher level qualifications. Come along to Advice Clinic at The Barn, Gate 1 on Thursday 14 August between 10am and 2pm to meet our tutors and discuss your options. Alternatively contact us via email.

Email our exams team at exams.inbox@moulton.ac.uk and they will get you the information that you need.

Certificates will be issued in November and you will receive notification informing you when and how you will be able to access these.

Check the status of your UCAS application via Track. Many students find alternative courses through the UCAS clearing system which matches you with suitable courses that still have vacancies.

If you are interested in studying Animal Behaviour, Applied Zoology, Business, Sport, Sport Massage or Construction Management you could continue your studies at Moulton College on one of our Higher Skills programmes. To find out more look on our website or pop along to speak to our Higher Tutors in The Barn, Gate 1 between 10am and 2pm on Thursday 14 August.

Some BTEC courses are two-year courses and you will not receive an overall grade until the end of the next year. When you return to college in September your tutors will share your unit grades with you.

For legal reasons we are not allowed to release results to anyone except the person who sat the exam/s unless we have a letter from the student giving them permission to collect results on their behalf. You will also need IF to prove that you are the person mentioned in the letter. Don't forget that your young person can log on remotely to access their results through their student email account.

Please speak to your Course Manager if you are interested in having your paper re-marked. Please be aware that there is a cost for this service and your score could go up, down or stay the same.
