At Moulton College, our Careers Service is dedicated to empowering our students to make informed, confident decisions about their future. Whether this is exploring next steps, applying to university, considering apprenticeships, or preparing to enter the world of work, we offer the advice, guidance, resources, and personalised support needed to succeed.
Our Careers Programme is designed in line with the CDI Code of Ethics and fully meets the statutory requirements set out by the Department for Education
- We provide independent and impartial careers guidance to all learners up to the age of 18, and to those aged 19–25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- We ensure there is access to a broad range of education and training providers, in line with PAL.
- We deliver a careers programme that aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring high-quality and meaningful experiences with employers and education providers.
- We offer up-to-date labour market information and a wide range of reference materials to support career exploration and planning, whether in one-to-one or group settings.
We are committed to continuous improvement and quality assurance, regularly reviewing our provision to ensure it remains relevant, inclusive, and impactful for our future workforce.

Receive confidential one-to-one sessions tailored to your goals with a trained Level 6 Careers Advisor.
Quick advice and guidance available throughout the week to all of our learners.
There are plenty of opportunities to gain real-world experience and connect with employers.
Throughout your time here there will be plenty of careers fairs, employer talks, and bespoke skills workshops for you to participate in.
You will have access to online tools, job boards, and career planning resources 24/7 with our Digital Careers Hub.
If you are a parent or carer of a student here at Moulton and would like some advice, please reach out to our team. You’ll receive confidential guidance and support for your young person as they navigate their career pathway options.
We have access to virtual reality technology to help build confidence and skills needed to become work-ready.

Labour Market Information (LMI)
LMI is data collected from within industries, regions and countries showing patterns and trends in recruitment and employment. By highlighting what job sectors are growing helps individuals with career decisions and progression.
The South East Midlands (SEM) Growth Hub provides regional LMI.
Careerometer is a freely available widget provided by the LMI for everyone. This is a service which will give you further insight into the demand for different career roles.
