Staying on site as a resident, gives you opportunities to develop new skills and make lifelong friends. The residential team will work with the curriculum and learning support teams to support you to reach your potential.
Our dedicated Student Support and 24/7 residential team work hard to ensure that you are safeguarded and your health and well-being is promoted. In partnership with our resident reps, you will be provided with a fantastic student experience through an exciting social and enrichment programme.
The Residential Support Team - Who's Who!
It can be a daunting experience living away from home for the first time but there is always someone available to support you. The Student Support team consists of:
- Student Support Manager
- Safeguarding & Wellbeing Coordinators
- Emotional & Wellbeing Officer
- Residential Experience Officer
- Residential Coordinator
- Night Warden Team
The Residential Experience Officer organises evening events and activities for residents during the week.
The Residential Coordinator oversees the day to day running of the residential team and is on hand to assist with any issues that you are experiencing.
The Night Wardens are there to supervise and support students during the evening and throughout the night. Whether it is to report issues or chat about your day, they are always there.
