We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dog Groomer/Lecturer Dog Grooming to be involved in increasing the provision at the College. Our aim is to grow this provision further and offer a variety of course options. We are happy to upskill a qualified dog groomer with teaching support and teaching qualifications.
The role will involve delivery of dog grooming courses to students on different course levels. You would also contribute to curriculum development.
You would need to be available to groom outside of term time when students are not present to meet the needs of the commercial grooming salon. This role is a 0.6FTE, working 3 days per week.
Interviews for this role will be taking place week commencing 25 August 2025.
You will:
- Provide a Dog Grooming service over the summer period to commercial clients
- Teach and train students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College
- Develop Dog Grooming Courses
The post holder should have a broad range of knowledge and industry experience in Dog Grooming and hold a Level 2 and ideally also a Level 3 Dog Grooming qualification. The candidate should also ideally hold a teaching/assessor qualification or be willing to work towards this.
This post would be ideal for a dog groomer looking for additional work to supplement their income or to progress outside of the salon.
