Casual Sports Facilities Assistant

We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual with a knowledge of Sports Centres and Sports Facilities to join our team as a Casual Sports Facilities Assistant. Flexibility is key for this role. The hours vary depending on the sessions that are taking place, however, the core availability is:

2.00 pm – 6.00 pm Saturdays and during the summer there would be additional hours whilst staff undertake annual leave.

You will provide support to the Manager and Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the Sports Centres, maintain safe working practices and conditions and ensure that all sports facilities are used in a safe and appropriate manner.

You will maintain standards set for the use of the Sports Facilities, including discipline, security, customer care, cleanliness and tidiness and supervise students working at the centre.

You will have experience of working in a similar environment, have a working knowledge of a range of fitness equipment, be confident to deal with a wide range of people and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will have a flexible approach to work and a commitment to high standards.
