We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Higher Level Learning Support Assistant to support our students throughout their educational journey. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students achieve their potential and will also be confident in supporting and providing cover for English lessons when required.
Through supporting our students as they develop skills in academic and practical lessons you will receive huge Job satisfaction and work in a role where the classroom is predominantly outdoors. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the campus while you work.

You will:
- Support students with their educational needs to ensure they succeed and reach their full potential in their chosen course.
- Guide and offer support to students during their learning at the College.
- Undertake educational activities, prepare learning resources and, where necessary, act as class cover for Teachers of English in the event of absence.
- Work with highly skilled tutors in various courses such as Construction, Animal Welfare and Foundation Learning.

The successful candidate will have:
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- A good general standard of education, including at least five GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- A Level 2 NVQ qualification (or equivalent) and a Level 3 NVQ in a relevant subject area
- A current First Aid qualification, or a willingness to work towards obtaining one
- A strong commitment to continuous professional development, evidenced through ongoing learning and training
