We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Animal Keeper & Industry Experience Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a diverse range of animals while supporting and guiding students as they develop their practical skills and industry knowledge.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of animal welfare while also supervising and mentoring learners during their practical experience. You will play a key part in creating a supportive, safe and engaging environment that reflects current industry practices, helping to prepare students for successful careers in the animal sector.
Interviews for this role will be taking place week commencing 15 June 2026.
You will:
- Look after the health, care and welfare of animals kept at the Animal Welfare Centre (AWC)
- Maintain and provide teaching materials and resources at the AWC
- Supervise students on commercial experience at the AWC
- Provide support and guidance to students to aid the development of industry skills through verbal and written feedback

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
- A Level 3 qualification in an animal related subject or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience of working within the Animal Welfare Industry with experience of dealing with a large range of animals
- E verbal and written communication skills?
- Able to keep to deadlines and lead on developing, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality, motivational and inclusive learning experiences
