Exams Administrator

Join our Exams team as an Exams Administrator and help ensure our examinations are delivered smoothly, fairly and in line with awarding body regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed administration, values service excellence, and takes pride in delivering a professional, student‑focused service.

As an Exams Administrator, you’ll be part of a supportive team providing a high‑quality service to both staff and students. You’ll be responsible for the accurate processing of exam entries and records, maintaining compliance with awarding body regulations, and ensuring students receive clear, timely information throughout the examination process.

Interviews for this role will be taking place on Wednesday 4 February 2026.

You will:

  • Process exam registrations, entries, claims, results and certificates accurately and on time
  • Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate student exam records on the College MIS
  • Manage exam concession files and ensuring appropriate evidence is in place
  • Respond professionally to exam‑related enquiries from students and staff
  • Support the organisation and delivery of major exam sessions, including invigilator planning
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of awarding body regulations and deadlines
  • Ensure all processes meet internal standards and external compliance requirements

You’ll be highly organised, detail‑focused and customer‑orientated, with the confidence to manage sensitive information professionally. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team while also being comfortable using your own initiative.

You will have:

  • GCSE Maths and English (grade C or above, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an administrative or exams‑related role
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, “can‑do” approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Experience within a further or higher education setting is desirable, but not essential.
