We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant to provide a student with EHCP specialist self-care and support during the College day.
We are looking for this role to start at the beginning of next academic year (September 2024).
This role is key to ensuring we provide a comprehensive supportive environment for students that promotes student wellbeing and educational success.
This is a variable hours role and will depend on student timetables. Perhaps you have this flexibility or are only available for specific days. Please get in touch to discuss your availability if this is the case.
You will:
- Assist with mobility and transport across the College site to ensure that lessons can be accessed effectively.
- Assist with personal care that may be required.
- Support the student with social/physical activities.

The skills, experience and qualities of the ideal candidate would be:
- Functional skills level 2 in Maths & English or GCSE grade 4 or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant
- The ability to act as a role model to students
- The ability to communicate to students effectively
